Refer to drawing (fig.1.)
- Remove curtain cord.
- Remove front disc screws
- Remove disc
- Remove tongue bracket screws & bracket
- Remove tyre
- Clean pulley & discs
- Fit new tyre Part No 262
- Replace disc and screws and tighten
- Replace tongue and screws and tighten
- Check alignment as follows
See that both fingers of the tongue bracket are exactly between the front and rear walls of the groove in the tyre, also just off the bottom.
Check that the wire cord guide is not loose and that the end loops are in line with the tyre groove. This is very important, so as to ensure a trouble free and full life of the new tyre.
